Job Title: Research Associate

Location: Abuja

Essential Responsibilities

Support the training of moderators and transcribers in preparation for the qualitative data collection.
Ensure data quality assurance throughout the data collection period by reviewing interview scripts and providing necessary feedback.
Conduct analysis related to the study using relevant software such as Nvivo, Atlas etc.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Sociology / Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Economics or Statistics.

Experience:

• S/he will have at least 5 years’ experience in qualitative research work (data collection, validation, entry, and analysis)
• Proficiency in the use of qualitative analytical software’s such as NVivo, Atlas etc.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including ability to effectively communicate across cultures.
• Experience in the provision of technical support in agricultural, food security, livelihood, marketing, and economic growth.
• Good English language skills are essential.
