Job Title: Sales/Business Development Manager

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite, Warri and Lagos

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Acquisition & Contracts:
• Win major contracts with International Oil Companies (IOCs) and other oil & gas firms in key service areas, including but not limited to Construction and Fabrication, Marine
Services, Manpower Supply, and Procurement.
• Drive aggressive business development strategies across the oil & gas industry to capture significant market share.

2. Bid Management:
• Lead and monitor the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and RFQs (Requests for Quotations) to IOCs and oil & gas companies.
• Ensure timely submission of bid packages via platforms like NIPEX Joint Qualification
System (NJQS), Ariba, or through physical submission to client offices.

3. Client Relations & Prospecting:
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, converting leads into new
business opportunities.
• Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to nurture long-term partnerships.

4. Strategic Business Development:
• Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the oil & gas sector, focusing on areas that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competition, and new business
potential, and use the insights to inform business strategies.
• Prepare pre-qualification documents and submit them to various stakeholders in both oil
& gas and non-oil & gas sectors.
• Track and monitor the progress of business opportunities, ensuring continued engagement until contract closure.

5. Industry Engagement:
• Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to
promote the company’s services and expand business opportunities.
• Be willing to travel as necessary to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company at key meetings.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or any relevant
field.

Experience:
• Minimum of 5 – 8 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong track record of winning contracts and growing business in the oil & gas sector.
• Deep understanding of oil and gas prospecting and the bidding process for large contracts.

Skills & Competencies:
• Industry Network: Strong network within the oil & gas sector and the ability to leverage connections for business growth.
• Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver persuasive pitches.
• Tender Platform Familiarity: Expertise in using platforms like NIPEX, Ariba, and other tender submission systems for managing bids and RFQs.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify and pursue strategic business opportunities aligned
with the company’s growth objectives.

Month Salary – 350,000 – 450,000 Naira, Other benefits include, Paid Overtime, HMO,
Performance Bonuses, Commission, etc.
