Sales Executive Officer at Workcentral, Lagos, Nigeria

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive Officer with proven experience in the insurance or banking industry to drive revenue growth, acquire new clients, and manage customer relationships. This individual must be a sales hunter—energetic, persistent, and passionate about hitting and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the SME and corporate market segments.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Conduct presentations, demos, and pitches to potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM tools (Zoho, Zendesk, Salesforce).
  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Continuously research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in any field.
  • 2-3 years’ proven sales experience in the insurance industry (preferably AXA Mansard, Leadway, AIICO Insurance) or in a reputable bank (not fin-tech companies).
  • Demonstrated ability to meet consistently or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CRM tools such as Zoho, Zendesk, or Salesforce
  • A true sales hunter with a passion for prospecting and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clients.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-centric mindset.
  • Organized with strong time-management and reporting skills.
