Sales Support Specialist – Sales Operations

The Sales Support Specialist – Sales Operations is a position of high visibility within the organization. This role is an important business partner to many functions within the organization, including sales, marketing, client services, product, finance and legal.  Additionally, this role will provide the leadership team and other key constituents with analysis and decision support to drive towards optimal business outcomes.

Our ideal candidate who will help to support and improve all aspects of the deal process (e.g. quoting, contracting, forecast management, etc.). Monitor and encourage adoption of sales processes and procedures.  We are seeking a candidate who is excited to support a role critical to many functions with the organization that offers them the opportunity of growth and advancement in their career.

  • Contract support – Generation of customer schedules and amendments
  • Support End-to-End Deal Closure – Support signature process and Opportunity closure including calculating deal revenue, managing order and services entries.
  • Customer billing support  – manage and generate weekly invoicing
  • Sales reporting support – ability to create and manage reports and dashboards designed to manage forecasting and other key performance indicators as needed.
  • Customer overage reporting – Manage monthly overages related to contractually defined service caps.
  • Assist with calculating commissions and tracking Quota attainment
  • Assist with adhoc sales ops projects and initiatives as required

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales operations experience
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or comparable CRM solution is highly recommended
  • Experience with electronic contract management systems preferred.
  • Experience interpreting and supporting compensation plans
  • Experience in a technology subscription-based business
  • Ability to be a self-starter who can organize, plan and set priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex business problems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
