Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team responsible for engineering the next-generation Risk Platform for our internal and external customers.
NOTE:Â This is a remote position and we are open to all locations and time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to convert business requirements into services with solid code and meaningful tests
- Proactively initiate performance tuning, troubleshoot incidents, etc.
- Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation
- Write high quality code, follows best practices and advocates for engineering excellence
- Collaborate across other engineering teams and mentor junior members of the team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficient in core Java and the Spring Framework
- Proficient in MySQL, and familiar with at least one NoSQL database
- Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging middleware and the underlying design principles
- Experience with any modern Javascript Web Framework (React, Angular, VueJS, etc.)
- Solid understanding of core web and browser concepts as well as semantic of HTML/ CSS and Javascript
- A quick learner with the ability to perform under pressure
- Able to collaborate with the remote team across different time zones
Nice to Have:
- Experience with common frontend development tools such as grunt, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Solid understanding of frontend DevOps
- Experience in creating mockups and prototypes to emulate users web experience
- Performance tuning experience on JVM, SQL, RPC, etc.
- Experience in Risk or Compliance is a plus
