Job Title: Social Media Contractor

As social media manager, you’ll help Pipe enhance our brand and tell our story across platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative thinker with strong writing chops who can generate fresh ideas and craft compelling content. You’ll be the voice behind our social media channels, working closely with the rest of the team to champion small businesses and engage with our audience in innovative ways.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for social media channels, aligning with our brand voice and marketing goals.
• Monitor social media accounts, engage with followers, and respond to comments or messages.
• Collaborate with the team to repackage and promote existing Pipe content (blog, newsletter, case studies, speaking sessions, etc.) in creative ways.
• Track and report on social media performance, offering insights and suggestions for improvement.
• Stay updated on social media trends and propose ideas to enhance engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, including platform-specific best practices.
• Excellent written communication skills and a knack for crafting compelling content.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe tools) are a plus.
• Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Interest in finance, technology, or startups is a bonus.

Compensation for this contract role is $120 per hour. Hours: 5 hours per week.
