Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and dynamic social media manager to join our team. In this role,
you will drive our social media presence, attend physical events on behalf of Vectar and engage
our audience through compelling content. You will be responsible for creating, and curating
content across various platforms while ensuring alignment with Vectar’s vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities

– Create original, high-quality content (including graphics, videos, articles, and social posts) to drive engagement and conversions.
– Manage and grow Vectar’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
– Collaborate with the graphics and marketing lead to produce content that aligns with Vectar’s goals and product launches.
– Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply them to enhance the brand’s social presence.

– Place ads across different social media platforms and optimise ad budget
– Analyze and report on social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
– Attend physical events on behalf of Vectar Energy
– Stay updated on the latest energy and sustainability trends to ensure Vectar’s content remains relevant and impactful.

Role Requirements

– Must be female, residing in Lagos
– Proven experience as a creative (at least a year).
– Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with experience in storytelling and branding.
– Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in writing for web and social.
– Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platform trends.

– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Passionate about clean energy and sustainability.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
