Software Developer at Xometry, Remote (Global)

We are growing and looking for a Software Developer to support and strengthen our IT team. If you are passionate about engineering solutions, working with CAD systems, and contributing to a dynamic international company, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

• Maintain, improve, and expand CAD add-ons for SolidWorks and Fusion 360
• Develop and optimize backend services using Python (FastAPI, Fusion 360 API)
• Enhance the frontend experience using TypeScript
• Develop the SolidWorks add-in client-side using .NET technologies
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create innovative solutions
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code

What You Bring

• Proven experience in developing CAD integrations or add-ons (SolidWorks/Fusion 360 preferred)

Proficiency in:

• Python (FastAPI, Fusion 360 API)
• TypeScript (frontend development)
• .NET (for SolidWorks client-side add-in)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience working with CAD systems
• Understanding of 3D modeling concepts and engineering workflows
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure
