In the Search & Compare organization, you will work with several highly experienced software engineers focusing on building the world’s favorite way to shop. Challenges include:

– Handling hundreds of millions of offer updates daily

– Creating the world’s most comprehensive and searchable structured product catalog

– Developing features for our consumers and merchants

We use state-of-the-art technology to build an experience used by millions of consumers every month. Our code base evolves constantly, and hundreds of merge requests are pushed into production weekly

Minimum qualifications:

• • 2 years of experience with software development in Java (version 8 or higher) and related frameworks, such as Spring
  • Experience in event-oriented message frameworks such as Kafka or similar
  • Experience in building REST APIs
  • Experience in delivering well-tested, maintainable, and functioning code

Preferred qualifications:

• • Experience in NoSQL Databases such as ElasticSearch, MongoDB, etc.
  • Knowledge of microservice-oriented architecture

Responsibilities

• • As a Java Software Engineer, you will work within a specific problem space critical to Klarna’s current needs where you will design, develop and deploy backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability, and low latency
