The Anchor Group is a technology-driven organization focused on utilizing innovative software to streamline business operations. We are seeking an experienced Odoo Software Developer for a short-term project to provide technical training to our software team on the Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Help Desk modules of Odoo. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Odoo development and configuration, and capable of delivering in-depth training on module customization and integration.

Project Scope:

The Odoo Software Developer will be responsible for conducting technical training sessions on the development, customization, and configuration of the following Odoo modules:

• Sales Module – Training on development, customization, and integration of lead management, pipeline configuration, and reporting.
• Marketing Module – Technical training on automating campaigns, customizing email templates, and setting up workflows.
• E-commerce Module – Instruction on setting up online stores, configuring payment gateways, and customizing the front-end user experience.
• Help Desk Module – Guidance on ticketing system configuration, custom workflows, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, hands-on technical training on configuring, developing, and customization of Odoo’s Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Help Desk modules.
• Guide best practices for module integration, custom workflows, and technical optimization.
• Teach the Anchor Group software team how to develop and maintain custom Odoo modules to suit business needs.
• Offer support on troubleshooting common technical issues and resolving development-related challenges.
• Provide clear documentation and coding examples to ensure the team has reference material for future development.
• Assist in configuring and deploying modules in test environments for real-world applications.
• Share knowledge of Odoo’s framework, architecture, and backend configuration.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Odoo Software Developer, with strong expertise in developing and customizing Odoo modules, particularly Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Help Desk.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, PostgreSQL, and Odoo’s QWeb templates.
• Solid understanding of Odoo’s framework, MVC architecture, and module customization processes.
• Experience in API integrations, automation, and Odoo web development.
• Ability to teach and explain complex technical concepts to a development team with varying levels of experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Odoo v14+ and knowledge of both the community and enterprise versions.
• Familiarity with Linux server administration for Odoo hosting and configuration.
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum development processes.
• Previous experience in training or mentoring development teams.
