Job Title: Specialist, Content Curator
We are seeking a Specialist, Content Curator who is highly skilled in graphic design, photography, and video editing and knowledge of social media tools, to support our communications team. This individual will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality artwork, graphics, video content, and photography for our social media platforms and internal communications. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with an eye for detail and the ability to work independently while ensuring brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design compelling graphics and visual assets for social media, marketing materials, and internal communications.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos to enhance brand storytelling and engagement.
- Edit and produce dynamic video content for digital platforms and corporate initiatives.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop visually impactful content strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of artwork, graphics, video content, and photography requirements with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a well-organized digital library of creative assets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for content creation and digital storytelling.
- Uphold brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, photography, and video editing.
- Proficiency in design and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva, etc.).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design, photography, and videography skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to translate brand messaging into engaging visuals.
- Ability to capture and edit high-quality images to support branding and communications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in content curation, including graphic design, photography, and video editing, with a strong focus on digital storytelling and brand engagement.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong portfolio showcasing content creation, graphic design, and photography projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media content trends and engagement strategies.
