Hey!!  Update Your CV Like a Pro. HERE are Tips from an Experienced Recruiter

Technical Project Manager at Clive Alliance, Remote (Nigeria)

We’re looking for Technical Project Managers who can bridge business goals, client needs, and technical execution — ensuring every product we ship is high-quality, secure, and genuinely valuable. You’ll fit right in if you’re detail-driven, accountable, and comfortable leading cross-functional teams in fast-moving environments.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming for your squad(s).
  • Write clear, concise tickets with measurable acceptance criteria and coach team members to maintain high ticket standards.
  • Review code commits and pull requests (TypeScript, Python, Go) to ensure progress aligns with goals.
  • Test software end-to-end daily; proactively identify bugs, UX issues, and performance gaps.
  • Conduct API and integration testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
  • Use data (GitHub, Slack, Jira/Linear) to track productivity and recommend optimization actions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients (e.g., ZiKora, SuperSync) — managing expectations and updates clearly.
  • Enforce agile culture: daily updates, accountability, and process consistency.
  • Prevent scope creep by simplifying ideas and promoting incremental delivery.
  • Escalate and resolve blockers quickly, whether technical or organizational.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • Experience: 2–5 years as a Product Manager, Project Manager, QA Analyst, Engineer, or related technical role.
  • Technical Literacy: Able to read PRs, commits, and logs in at least one language (TypeScript, Python, Go).
  • Testing Proficiency: Skilled in API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, curl).
  • Analytical Skills: Able to use engineering data (Git, Linear/Jira, Slack) to improve workflow and performance.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and adaptable across both technical and business contexts.
  • Ownership: Self-starter who acts with urgency and accountability.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic, project-based environments.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Scrum certification, Google PM certificate, startup experience, or familiarity with automated testing tools.

Why Join the Clive Alliance Bench

  • Be first in line for short-term or contract roles as new projects launch.
  • Collaborate on cutting-edge, AI-driven products across diverse industries.
  • Get exposure to agile teams that value transparency, impact, and continuous improvement.
  • Work remotely with flexible schedules and professional autonomy.

APPLICATION QUESTIONS

You’ll be asked to answer these questions when you apply:

  • Briefly describe one situation where you personally tested a product, found a critical issue, and drove the fix before release. (Max 150 words)*
  • Describe how you handled a client or executive request that threatened to derail delivery—what argument or data won them over? (Max 150 words)*
  • Have you previously reviewed pull requests or code commits in a language such as TypeScript, Python, or Go?*
