This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced technical support for complex electromechanical systems, software, and networked environments within the life sciences and diagnostics sector. You will work remotely while assisting clients through troubleshooting, system analysis, installations, and upgrades. The role requires resolving high-complexity technical issues, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring optimal service delivery. By applying your expertise in database management, software support, and networking, you will play a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of high-end diagnostic instruments.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide expert-level technical support via phone and email, including troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex systems, software, and networks.
  • Conduct installations, upgrades, migrations, and configuration tasks, including SSL, LDAP, and DMZ setups.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues on high-end diagnostic instruments by synthesizing information from multiple sources.
  • Mentor and train less experienced associates, managing support queues and guiding customers through diagnostics, repairs, and parts replacement.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of service activities and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality, timely support and consistent knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience OR Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience with MS SQL and/or database management.
  • 1+ years of experience in Windows-based software support and TCP/IP networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight stays.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with medical devices, regulated environments, or image processing applications.
  • Prior experience with technical consulting or support in life sciences or diagnostics.
