Job Title: Threat Researcher

About the Role:

As a Threat Researcher in our Threat Research team, you will be responsible for monitoring and capturing some of the most prolific hackers in real-time, report to our client about malicious activities and join our response team to mitigate threats as they occur.

You will also be part of a versatile team with skills that span through exploit detection to red team experts simulating attackers to strengthen our clients’ security posture.

During daily missions, you will be tasks with malware analysis and threat hunting tasks, looking for hidden malware on our clients’ premises. Senior researchers of our team will guide you and teach you about our unique methodologies and tools to do so.

The ideal candidate should have:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / SANS GREM & GCIH graduate or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in SOC/MDR environments
• Experience with continuous monitoring over EDR/XDR or equivalent
• Experience with corporate, hybrid and cloud infrastructures
• Experience with security management software/integrations
• Experience with analyzing network traffic or network events
• Familiarity with threat intelligence services (VirusTotal, Defender Threat Intel and more)
• Familiarity with Scripting languages such as Python and Powershell and the ability to review code and understand it
• Basic knowledge with malware research, threat hunting and incident response
• Basic knowledge with detection rules in cloud environments
