OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development using WordPress, along with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

WordPress Developer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable code.

• Work closely with design and content teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional websites.

• Implement responsive web design principles to optimize site performance across various devices and screen sizes.

• Monitor and enhance website security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain site functionality and resolve technical challenges promptly.

• Conduct thorough testing to ensure the proper functioning of features, plugins, and integrations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical expertise and recommendations for website improvements and enhancements.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in WordPress development and implement them effectively in projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Experience working with WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices, web accessibility standards, and performance optimization techniques.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on project timelines and business needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Certifications in WordPress development, PHP, or relevant technologies.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with APIs.
