Kansas State University Scholarship 2025 Overview
Kansas State University is inviting applications for a fully funded MSc or PhD position in the Welti Arthropod Ecology Lab, starting January 2026. The lab focuses on grassland arthropod communities and their ecological roles, based in Manhattan, Kansas, with fieldwork primarily at the nearby Konza Prairie Biological Station.
Kansas State University Scholarship 2025 Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in ecology, biology, or a related field by Jan 2026

Strong interest in arthropod or grassland ecology

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Strong oral and written communication skills

Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

Valid driver’s license

Commitment to sample processing and research integrity
Preferred Qualifications

Field experience in plant or arthropod ecology

Identification skills, especially in grasslands

Experience with independent research

Familiarity with statistical analysis and R programming
