Overview
Mälardalen University (MDU) offers a limited number of full tuition scholarships each year for students applying to a Master’s programme at MDU as their first choice. This scholarship supports high-achieving international students from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland (with some exceptions).
Note: The scholarship covers tuition fees only and does not include living expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be from a non-EU/EEA/Switzerland country, excluding countries with Swedish long-term development cooperation (Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia)

Apply to a Master’s programme at MDU as their first choice via UniversityAdmissions.se

Pay the application fee on time

Submit all supporting documents within the published deadlines

Commit to the normal study plan (minimum 22.5 credits per semester / 45 credits per academic year)
Students from excluded countries should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.
Benefits

100% tuition fee coverage for the duration of the Master’s programme

Conditional on following the normal study plan
Scholarship is revoked if student status changes from fee-paying to non-paying during the study period.
