The Masters in Global Nursing Leadership (MGNL) at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is a two-year program designed for experienced nurses committed to leadership, global health equity, and addressing disparities in healthcare delivery.
Masters in Global Nursing Leadership 2027 (MGNL) at University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- 5 – 7 years of experience as a registered nurse (RN).
- Currently employed with a non-restricted RN license.
- Letter from the employer supporting graduate study.
- Two professional referees.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Statement of Purpose outlining leadership aspirations and MGNL’s relevance to career goals.
- Personal interview with UGHE faculty.
- English proficiency for graduate-level learning and communication.
- Notarized copies of academic documents from accredited institutions.
Application Process
Applications are submitted online via the UGHE Applicant Portal. The admissions process includes:
- Application submission (including academic qualifications and personal statement).
- Entrance examination (Mid-May 2025).
- Admissions interview (Mid-June 2025).
- Final decision announcement (Early July 2025).

- International applicants must translate and notarize non-English transcripts.
- Students must obtain an HEC equivalency certificate if they studied abroad.
- 80% of the program is online, requiring a functional computer and high-speed internet.
