NIPES Scholarship Program 2025: Overview

The Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES), in collaboration with Chinwe Chinonso Iwuanyanwu (Fellow, NIPES), is offering a ₦1,000,000 scholarship fund to outstanding Nigerian students pursuing careers in engineering, science, medicine, pharmacy, and related fields. The scholarship program aims to foster talent, promote inclusivity, and reward academic excellence in technical and scientific fields.

NIPES Scholarship Program 2025: Eligibility

✔️ Must be a current student in an accredited higher institution in Nigeria
✔️ Must be pursuing a course in engineering, science, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field
✔️ 100-level students and above are eligible to apply
✔️ Completion of at least two (2) free NIPES online courses is mandatory
✔️ Must submit a 1,000-word personal statement detailing skills learned from the courses
✔️ NIPES student members will receive priority consideration (non-members can register)

NIPES Scholarship Program 2025: Benefits

• ₦1,000,000 total scholarship fund

• ₦200,000 awarded to 5 recipients

• Covers one academic year (2024/2025)

NIPES Scholarship Program 2025: Application Requirements

1. Register as a student member on the NIPES website (if not already a member)

2. Enroll and complete two (2) free NIPES online courses (certificate required)

3. Submit a 1,000-word personal statement explaining:

   • Your background and educational journey

   • Passion for your field of study

   • Achievements and challenges overcome

   • Career goals aligned with NIPES’s mission

   • Skills gained from the NIPES courses and their application to your career/academic goals

4. Provide proof of enrollment, student ID, and NIPES membership number (if applicable)

✔️ Active NIPES student membership
✔️ Quality, originality, and relevance of the personal statement
✔️ Completion of two NIPES online courses with clear articulation of skills learned
✔️ Alignment with NIPES’s mission of promoting engineering and scientific excellence
