Rhodes Global Scholarships 2025: Overview

The Rhodes Global Scholarships offer a life-changing opportunity to study at the University of Oxford for exceptional students from around the world. Each year, two scholarships are awarded to candidates who are not eligible under existing Rhodes constituencies. This global opportunity is designed for outstanding individuals from countries that do not have a specific Rhodes Scholarship allocation.

Applications for the 2025 cycle (for entry in 2026) open on 2 June 2025 and close on 31 July 2025 (23:59 GMT). All applicants must receive a nomination from their institution and be approved for eligibility by the Rhodes House team to submit their application.

Rhodes Global Scholarships 2025: Eligibility

• Must not be eligible for another Rhodes Scholarship constituency

• Must be nominated by an eligible academic institution (nomination is requested within the application portal)

• Must receive eligibility approval from the Rhodes House team before submission

• Last day to begin an application: 29 July 2025

• Must meet the general Rhodes Scholarship eligibility, including age limit, academic qualifications, and English proficiency
