Ruth Titilayo Secondary School Scholarship 2026: Overview

The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation invites applications for the 2026 Secondary School Scholarship, designed to support academically talented students in Nigerian state secondary schools. The scholarship provides both tuition and maintenance allowances to help ease the financial burden of education.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet any or all of the following criteria:

• Performed well in the Common Entrance Examinations.

• Demonstrated outstanding academic performance in secondary school.

• Currently enrolled as a secondary school student, or have been enrolled within the last year.

Benefits

• Tuition allowance: Up to ₦100,000 per academic year.

• Maintenance allowance: Up to ₦15,000 annually.

Fellowship/Program Components

• Financial support for tuition and living expenses.

• Shortlisted candidates will undergo an online interview with competency-based questions relevant to their current year group.

• Guidance and support from the foundation for awardees.

Application Requirements

• Completed online application form.

• If shortlisted, applicants must provide:

  • Copies of their current school result.

  • Two reference letters from teachers/tutors.

  • A personal statement.

  • Other supporting documents (if any).

Selection Criteria

• Strong academic record and examination results.

• Evidence of commitment to education.
