Study in France: Master’s Scholarships for Ugandan Students 2025/2026 Overview

The Embassy of France in Uganda is offering fully funded Master’s scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. This prestigious opportunity is open to academically qualified Ugandan students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree in selected fields at French public universities. Programmes can be taken in either French or English.

Study in France: Master’s Scholarships for Ugandan Students 2025/2026 Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be Ugandan citizens

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the eligible fields

• Be willing to study French as part of their academic journey

• Begin the application process to a French public university before applying for the scholarship

• Sustainable Development

• Tourism/Leisure

• Gender Studies

• Economics

• Engineering

• Business Administration

• French Language

Benefits

The scholarship includes:

• Round-trip airfare between Uganda and France

• Full tuition fees

• Visa fee waiver and CVEC fee coverage

• Monthly stipend for living expenses

• Health insurance (70% by the French government, 30% by Campus France)

• Priority access to subsidized student housing

• Support for administrative procedures

• Cultural activities and networking opportunities

Application Requirements
Applicants must submit ONE PDF file containing:

• A cover letter

• A copy of a valid ID

• A copy of their Bachelor’s degree certificate

• Proof of application to or admission into a French public university (mandatory for final selection)

Selection Timeline

• 15th–30th June 2025: Pre-selection and shortlisting

• Interviews for shortlisted candidates

• 15th July 2025: Final results will be communicated to all applicants
