Study in the UK with the Prestigious UCL Global Master’s Scholarship 2026/27 

Overview

The UCL Global Master’s Scholarship offers international students from low-income backgrounds a golden opportunity to pursue a full-time Master’s degree at University College London (UCL). The scholarship aims to make world-class education accessible and support talented individuals ready to make a global impact.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be from any country outside the UK.

• Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.

• Come from a low-income household (as defined by UCL).

• Have submitted a complete application (including references) for a full-time on-campus Master’s program at UCL for the 2026/27 academic year.

• Distance-learning programs are not eligible.

Benefits

• Up to £15,000 for one academic year.

• 85 scholarships are available (including 5 reserved for Indian students and 1 for a Japanese student under the Musubi Global Master’s Scholarship).

• Scholarship funds are first applied to tuition fees, with the balance paid to the recipient for maintenance in three instalments.

• Can be combined with other funding sources, depending on total award value.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based primarily on financial need, assessed and recommended by the UCL Student Funding Office.
