   • 1 April 2025 (for mid-year intakes).

   • 23 October 2025 (for early 2026 intakes).

   • Scholarship decisions are made eight weeks after the deadline.

University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship 2025/26 Overview

The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship provides financial support for high-achieving international students enrolling in an undergraduate, postgraduate diploma (PGDip), or master’s program. The scholarship aims to attract top-tier students to the University of Auckland.

University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship 2025/26 Eligibility

• Open to new international students applying for:

  • Undergraduate degrees

  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip)

  • Master’s programs (minimum one-year duration)

• Must meet the university’s academic and admission requirements.

University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship 2025/26 Benefits

• Up to $10,000 towards tuition fees.

• One-year tenure.

• Up to 50 scholarships are awarded biannually.

   • 30 January 2025 (for Semester 2, Quarter 3 & Quarter 4 of 2025).

   • 11 September 2025 (for Semester 1, Quarter 1 & Quarter 2 of 2026
