University of Dundee Alumni and Family Scholarship 2026: Overview
The Alumni and Family Scholarship (January 2026) offers up to £3,000 in financial support to applicants who have an immediate family connection with a graduate of the University of Dundee. It applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes starting in January 2026.
University of Dundee Alumni and Family Scholarship 2026: Eligibility
You must:

Hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time undergraduate (minimum 120 credits) or postgraduate taught programme (minimum 180 credits) starting 12 January 2026.

Have an immediate family member (IFM) who has completed a full undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree at Dundee. Eligible IFM includes:

Mother, Father, Spouse, Step-parent (by marriage), Brother, Sister, Half-sibling (by marriage).

Submit proof of relationship and family member’s degree certificate.

Hold eligible fee status: England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, or International.
You are not eligible if your course is:

Part-time or distance learning

Undergraduate course with government-set fees
-
Undergraduate course below 120 credits

Postgraduate taught course below 180 credits

PhD
Additional eligibility:

Alumni who completed a research placement/internship (min. 3 months) or a full year at International College Dundee may also qualify.
Value

£1,500 for Home (UK/RUK) students (1 year only).

£3,000 for International students (1 year only).

⚠️ Only one Alumni award can be granted – either the direct graduate award or family award.
