University of Lincoln Africa Scholarship 2025: Overview

The University of Lincoln Africa Scholarship is designed to support talented students from across Africa (excluding Egypt) to pursue postgraduate taught programmes in the UK. This award is available for students commencing studies in September 2025, January 2026, September 2026, or January 2027.

The scholarship is automatically awarded as a tuition fee discount of £4,000–£5,000 for the first year of study.

University of Lincoln Africa Scholarship 2025: Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Africa (excluding Egypt).

• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2025/2026 or January 2026/2027.

Benefits

• £5,000 tuition discount for:

  • Bachelor’s degree holders with at least a 2:1 (upper second class) equivalent.

  • Pre-Master’s or Master’s equivalent holders with a comparable classification.

• £4,000 tuition discount for:

  • Bachelor’s degree holders with at least a 2:2 (lower second class) equivalent.

  • Pre-Master’s or Master’s equivalent holders with a comparable classification.

💡 Additional discounts: Eligible students may also receive an Advance Full Payment Discount (£1,000–£1,500).

Fellowship/Program Components

• Open to all fields of postgraduate taught study.

• Award applies only to the first year of study.

• Students progressing from a Pre-Master’s programme at Lincoln are entitled to the scholarship when moving to their main programme.

Application Requirements

• No separate scholarship application required.

• Eligible students are automatically awarded the scholarship once they meet the criteria.

Selection Criteria

• Based strictly on academic achievement (degree classification equivalency).

• Must meet the University’s entry requirements for the chosen postgraduate course.
