Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program 2025: Overview

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) is a transformative initiative that provides academically talented, socially conscious, and financially disadvantaged young people, especially women in STEM, persons with disabilities, and internally displaced youth, with access to world-class education and leadership development. PAU is the first Nigerian university to partner with the Mastercard Foundation, aiming to educate and empower 650 Scholars over the next decade.

Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program 2025 Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential

• Show financial need

• Be young women interested in STEM, young people with disabilities, or internally displaced youth

• Be committed to community service and social impact

• Have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB), including English and Mathematics in no more than two sittings

• Score a minimum of 220 in the current year’s UTME (JAMB), with subjects in English Language and any three relevant subjects from Arts, Sciences, or Social Sciences

Application Requirements

• O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB)

• UTME (JAMB) result with a score of 220 or above

Restrictions

• Open only to Nigerian students

• Applicants must be first-time undergraduate applicants to Pan-Atlantic University

• UTME must be taken in the current academic year

Application Process

1. Meet Academic Requirements: 5 O’Level credits including English and Math

2. Fill Interest Form (if awaiting UTME results)

3. Sit for UTME with a minimum score of 220

4. Complete Online Application (for those with UTME result)
