Overview
The WAAW Foundation STEM Scholarship supports young African women studying STEM fields in universities and colleges across Africa. The scholarship allows students to focus fully on their academics while participating in community-focused STEM outreach to promote women’s involvement in STEM.
Eligibility

Female student of African origin living and studying in Africa

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

Studying a STEM-related course

Must be in first or second year, or third year of a five-year program
-
Below 32 years of age

Able to demonstrate financial need

Strong academic record
-
Evidence of leadership, volunteering, or community service

The scholarship provides financial support that helps scholars concentrate on academic goals while engaging in STEM outreach activities through their university chapter.
