Austrian Development Cooperation ITH Tourism & Hospitality Scholarship 2026: Overview

The Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) offers fully funded and partially funded scholarships for international students to study the Diploma Course at the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITH), Salzburg, specialising in Tourism and Hospitality. Scholarships are available for applicants from ADC priority countries as well as other eligible developing nations.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be from an ADC priority country or from a developing country on the OECD DAC list

• Be 35 years old or younger

• Meet all admission requirements, including valid documentation and translations (English/German)

• Submit a strong motivation letter and video presentation

• Possess a valid email and phone contact and be able to complete documentation and visa processes

ADC Priority Countries include:
Ethiopia, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Palestinian Territories, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova.

Programme Components

The Diploma Course includes:

• General Module

• Professional Module (Choose one): Hospitality Management | Tourism Management

• Elective (Choose one): Entrepreneurship | Teacher Training

Course Duration: September 7, 2026 — May 30, 2027

Application Requirements

• Complete the online application form

• Upload all required documents (translated if necessary)

• Submit a Motivation Letter and video clearly demonstrating interest and eligibility

• Use a valid email address & check regularly

• Clarify visa questions with Austrian consulate/embassy

• Only complete applications will be reviewed

• Must understand and comply with ITH visa/admission requirements

Candidates are selected based on:

• Academic and professional suitability

• Clarity and strength of motivation letter & video
