2025 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme: Overview
The NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (UGSS) supports exceptional first-year Nigerian undergraduates with the aim of promoting academic excellence and building national human capacity. The 2025 edition is open to students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic year in Nigerian universities.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all the following:

Be a Nigerian citizen and currently residing in Nigeria.

Be a full-time first-year undergraduate in the 2025/2026 session at a federal or state university.

Have at least five (5) O’Level credits in one sitting (including English & Maths) — WAEC/SSCE/NECO.

Score a minimum of 200 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.

Be 18–25 years old at the time of application.

Must not:
-
Hold any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.

Be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relative of NLNG staff.

Eligible applicants will take an Online Proctored Computer-Based Test.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited.

Post-Test Documentation

Candidates who pass the test will be asked to submit additional documents.

Scholarships will be granted to applicants who satisfy all criteria and successfully pass all stages.
