Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be an international student under the Higher Education Support Act 2003

• Purchase and maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

• Be accepted into a full-time Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at the University of Technology Sydney

• Study in a UTS research concentration area

• Not already hold a degree at the same or higher level as the proposed program

• Not have previously received an Australian Government postgraduate research scholarship (unless it ended within 6 months)

• Not receive another scholarship or salary exceeding 75% of the UTSP stipend

• Applicants who apply for the International Research Training Program Scholarship (IRTP) are automatically considered for the UTSP scholarship.

• Only one scholarship application form is required for IRTP, IRS, and UTSP scholarships.
