Dear Future Marketing Coach
We’re hiring a Digital Marketing Coach because we need you to accomplish our mission – help our clients grow their revenue by $100 million.
We believe that humans are built to make things. And one of the best ways to get more people making things is to show them how to sell their products and services so they can dedicate more time and money to creating even more awesome things.
That’s why our mission is helping our clients grow their revenue by $100m per year. It’s a measure of the impact we’re having and how effective we are as a company.

This role is a top priority in the company. Why?
Because everything we do at Growth Tools centers around coaching our clients to grow their business. That means we have 1:1 relationships with each client, where we create and regularly review their marketing strategy, lend them a 2nd set of eyes to review their campaigns and hold them accountable to making progress.
We need to add another world-class marketing mentor to our team to help us continue to do this.
We’ve been coaching companies and solo-preneurs in marketing for 7 years. Along the way, we’ve discovered several new innovative and extremely effective methodologies.
Example: We’ve built a custom LMS system that allows us to track each client’s progress daily and know exactly when they need help, a 2nd set of eyes or accountability.

This role is important because without you we will not have the capacity to continue expanding our coaching programs and reaching more clients. We need you to help us change the world 1 client at a time.
What will you learn in this role?
If you come from corporate america, but crave the intimate team, a voice of influence, fast paced environment and being the cutting edge of digital marketing YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE!
If you come from a small business but have disliked having a ceiling on your career because there is no where to move up. Growth Tools will be a place you thrive.
However, if you prefer highly defined day to day duties; don’t really enjoy figuring things out and trying new processes seems intimidating, you won’t do well in this role.
There is 0 red tape at Growth Tools. We don’t care about how other people have always done things, how you have always done things or what anyone’s SOP is.
What we care about is: 1) you love what you do every day and wake up excited to do it; and 2) our clients’ success.
We ruthlessly measure both of those on a daily basis.
In this role you will learn:
1. How to provide expert advice and a 2nd set of eyes to 100s of coaching clients per month (without burning out or letting quality suffer)
2. How to run a world-class coaching program at scale
3. How to create strategic marketing plans that 2x your clients businesses in less than 12 months
4. How to gently (but firmly) hold your clients accountable for taking the daily actions that you prescribe to hit their goals. You’ll walk away from your time at Growth Tools having grown your coaching skills and fully learn how to run a world-class coaching program with 100s of monthly clients.
In your role as a Marketing Coach, you will primarily own 3 numbers:
1. The response time of each ticket
2. The satisfaction of those responses rated by the clients
3. The recurring retention rate remains above >90%
You’ll walk away from your time at Growth Tools having been an influential voice in creating and scaling one of the most innovative online education and coaching products that exist.
This role will have been a success if you walk away from your time here saying: “That was the best team I’ve ever been a part of and the product we created is a high water mark of my career!”
Who will you work with?
You will work directly with Jeanette, Director of Product and interact regualrly wtih our Founder, Bryan as well as the Marketing team and Sales team .
You will join our team of coaches and you’ll start off either part-time with a tract to be full-time within 12 months or Full-time right away. The product team is a small team of 10 employees and the fastest growing division in the company. It is made up of both the coaching team and the software engineering team.
The coaching team is made up of Strategists, Client Success Specialists, and Mentors. They work together, seamlessly to support our clients as they grow their businesses.
We are a different kind of company. Our team is close knit, collaborative not competitive and we maniacally give shout outs when we catch each other doing good things! (Even weekly cake deliveries to celebrate too)
We expect to bring in 4-6 more coaches this year. You’ll be the first, which means you’ll be instrumental in working with Jeanette to build out the team throughout the year.

Where will you work?
We do remote well and have for over 4 years! We all work remotely and are scattered around North America from Vancouver to Cleveland, and Nashville to Birmingham.
That means you have the flexibility to work from home or a coworking location or to take the family to Peru for the summer and work from your terrace overlooking Machu Picchu.
What does Growth Tools do and why?
Growth Tools provides the tools and training to help online businesses double their revenue in 1 year. We work primarily with teaching based businesses (course creators, influencers, coaches etc.) to help them significantly grow their revenue and impact- including getting them on the INC. 5000 list. Our tools consist of 10 SaaS products that we give away for free. Our training consists of a 1:1 coaching business, Growth University.

We drastically underestimate what we’re capable of. While much of the news and social media is focused on the negative, we have seen first hand what a hope filled entrepreneur is capable of and how much good they can do! At Growth Tools our job is to help every client, grow their business so more people can be helped and more good is done.
Example:
One of our clients, Chaitra Rahhakrishna, runs a small design studio. She works with e-commerce companies and helps them create beautiful websites that showcase and sell their products.
When we first started working with her she had $0 revenue and had just given birth to her first child. 12 month later, while being an awesome mom, she also grew her studio to $100,000. This totally changed her life, gave her freedom to be creative and truly pour out her best work to her clients.
This Marketing Coach role is important because without you we will not have the ability to continue helping people like Chaitra. We have maxed out what is physically possible with our current coaching team, they need relief and we need you to come in and take us to the next level.

Requirements
- You have 2+ years of success Marketing an online business for yourself or clients.
- You love giving feedback on things like sales pages and email campaigns and you are able to ensure others feel confident and have clear actionable feedback to make their marketing campaigns better
- You love crafting and mentoring clients through marketing tactics, strategies or campaigns and… seeing their results as they pick up momentum
- You have a gift for helping clients stay on track through accountability that is respectful, gentle and encouraging. You also don’t shy away from tough love when needed.
- You are a complete Marketing nerd who has been looking for a role like this for years
- You are available to coach either Full time (35-40 hours per week) or Part-Time (10 – 20 hours per week)
- Ideally, you live in one of the 4 North American time zones
- Ideally, you are available between 8 am – 6 pm CST or EST Monday through Friday for work
