About Magnus

Magnus is a Recruiter and an all-round product guy. He has been working in the BPO and Gaming industry for almost 10 years. Before now, he worked in the Film, Education, Fintech, Media and Entertainment industries.

He also posts videos on Youtube, built ANH, Japa.NG and that’s where you come in.

Here’s what you will do (and not do)

• Send 1 Newsletter each week (There is already a template for this)
• Post and share 30 jobs everyday. Mon – Fri. We will show you how and where to find jobs. (We ❤️ remote opportunities)
• Monitor our 5 websites and update plugins, changes, report any issues or downtime.
• Share our YouTube Videos through Hootesuite to our various Social Media Platforms
• Research content for JapaNG team (news about Nigerians abroad, scholarships, opportunities etc)
• You will not be required to write or publish on the blogs, except posting vacancies and sharing them.
• This is a 5-month contract (August – December 2023). Please do not apply If you can’t commit.

Requirements

• Male. Preferably living in Yaba or close, our office is in Akoka
• Have a good experience with WordPress
• You need to be really, really interested in tech. This is important!
• Experience with Substack, Hootesuite and how website hosting works
• Have a laptop 💻, If you don’t, then you would have to come to the office everyday to use the one at the office. if you have a laptop, then you only come to the office twice a week.

It’d also be REALLY great if you are:

• Comfortable making phone calls – You might have to call a client occasionally to know “how far” with our last meeting(s). There’s an office phone.
• Can keep up with AI and happenings in the tech space
