THE CANDIDATE

To support our expansion plans for 2023, we are currently looking for a highly skilled individual to represent our company in Nigeria. The individual will develop our business through nurturing leads, developing new sales, and driving the growth of the business through effective sales strategies.

In 2023, Digitally Smart’s key focus area in Nigeria is the private sector. To support such goal, specific objectives and incentives will be set to develop the business across large corporations as well as leading startup hubs and accelerators.

To be successful in this role, you should be a competent public speaker and have good networking abilities. You also need to be a strategist, unafraid to get things done, and someone the team in the UK can rely on. As a brand ambassador and country representative, you must share with the board at Digitally Smart the country’s needs so it can successfully establish itself and brief the teams working on the company’s expansion plan about the needs, priorities, KPIs and reasons behind the applied strategy. This job will suit someone who enjoys a client facing role and the challenge of growing the business.

FINANCIAL RETRIBUTION

This role is 100% commission based.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advising on the market strategies for the business.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, including clients and partners.
  • Conducting periodic market research and analysis.
  • Attending conferences and events on behalf of the business.
  • Advising on annual budgets and keep track of monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be educated to degree level or equivalent. Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • At least 3 – 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
  • A strong understanding of how a business operates with a proven track record demonstrating their business acumen.
  • Knowledge and experience on the digital economy and the industry Digitally Smart operates in.
  • Must feel very comfortable with computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel, video conferencing apps, etc.
