Job Title:Â Business Development Executive – Oil and Gas Sector
Job Summary:Â We are in search of a dynamic Business Development Executive with 4-6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new markets, sourcing potential opportunities, and leveraging their industry connections. The primary focus will be on promoting and selling our innovative & agnostic digital transformation technology platform and its solutions to both current and prospective clients within the energy sector. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong track record in B2B sales, excellent networking abilities, strong presentation skills, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by sourcing potential leads, applicable Request for Proposals (RFP) and tenders within the oil and gas sector.
- Devise and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand market presence and drive revenue.
- Cultivate and utilize a network of industry contacts to promote the platform and establish valuable partnerships.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive activities, crafting effective sales approaches.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients, aiming to nurture long-term connections and maximize sales possibilities.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to key stakeholders, highlighting the platform’s value proposition and its benefits to their operations.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to the business development strategy to meet set targets.
- Regularly update the line manager with reports, outlining progress, challenges, and opportunities within the oil and gas market.
·       Liaise with legal counsel to negotiate sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines whilst maximizing profitability for the company and mitigating any potential risks.
·       Monitor and evaluate activities, services and products of the competition to provide a periodic competitor analysis within the markets we operate
·       Develop a pricing framework for our services and solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Finance or any other course (MBA degree preferred)

The incumbent must possess solid experience in relationship building, stakeholder management, lead generation, technical writing, and prospecting. Additionally, they must:
