Job Title: AI Consultant
The consultants will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Evaluate the organization’s digital maturity and readiness for advanced tools and solutions including an assessment of existing technological, human, and financial resources
- Develop a comprehensive report summarizing findings, recommendations, and an implementation plan. This includes strategic recommendations that include a realistic timeframe with prioritized solutions.
- Develop a benchmark report for the organization’s digital platforms.
- Analyze the digital ecosystem and user journeys using the Digital Knowledge Commons (DKC) framework. Recommend AI tools to improve information discovery and enhance content packaging for audiences.
- Analyze current knowledge management systems and practices, identifying gaps and needs. Recommend and support implementation of solutions for improved knowledge search, packaging, sharing and retention.
- Identify opportunities for AI integration to enhance the digital presence and optimize content visibility and accessibility. Recommend AI tools relevant to the organization’s needs which should be aligned with organization’s goals.
- Outline and implement AI-based packaging opportunities for improved knowledge delivery.
- Advice on AI-driven tools and solutions for other outreach purposes.
- Workshop or training session(s) for staff.
Education, Experience and Technical skills
- A degree and/or extensive experience in the field of Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Knowledge and Data Management, Digital Transformation, or a related field.
- Experience in implementing AI-powered tools for content platforms, including content tagging, search enhancement, and content personalization.
Personal Attributes and Competencies
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), user journeys and digital platforms, understanding how AI can enhance content discovery, categorization, and personalization.
- Understanding user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to ensure AI solutions align with user needs and improve the overall platform usability.
- Familiarity or interest in landscape restoration, international development, sustainable development goals (SDGs), climate change, biodiversity, and related topics, ensuring AI solutions are contextually relevant and aligned with global development initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content managers and developers, and effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

- This is a consultancy position.
- The period of the consultancy is 4 (four) months.
- Work location: Remote.
