Rising Star Scholarship is awarded every other year at the International Women’s Day Conference, in honor of Yaolin Wang. They want to identify and recognize a young international woman with emerging potential.
We’re looking for a student who is building their future through involvement and engagement at IU and has a deep desire to continuously improve life at IU by engaging in opportunities to help others. Someone with the emerging potential to do great things, like contributing to society at large, inspiring others, taking on a leadership role, or working behind the scenes to set up others to shine.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must:
- Identify as a female, non-immigrant, international student
- Be a freshman, sophomore, or junior at the time of nomination
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
