University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025-2026 Overview

The Padua International Excellence Scholarship is a highly competitive award offered by the University of Padua to outstanding international students enrolling in English-taught Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Single-Cycle degree programs for the 2025/2026 academic year. Scholars will also serve as University ambassadors at various events.

University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025-2026 Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Not hold Italian citizenship (except for dual citizens including Italian).
• Hold a non-Italian foreign secondary school diploma (for Bachelor’s/Single-cycle degrees) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s degrees).
• Not reside in Italy.
• Apply to one or more English-taught degree programs (maximum of 3) at the University of Padua.
• No separate application is required—candidates meeting the criteria will be automatically considered.

University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025-2026 Benefits

• Full tuition fee waiver.
• €8,000 annual stipend (gross amount).
• Duration:
  • 2 years for Master’s degree programs.
  • 3 years for Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle degree programs.
• Scholars will only pay a small admission fee (regional tax + administrative fee).

University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025-2026 Selection Criteria

• Based on academic excellence, prior learning records, and achievements.
• Shortlisted by the Academic Committee of each degree program.
• Priority given to first-round applicants, but some second-round applicants may be considered.

University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025-2026 Application Process

• Apply for up to 3 eligible degree programs at the University of Padua.
• If eligible, candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship.
• Results will be published at www.unipd.it/en/assessment-results according to the official timeline.

University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025-2026 Acceptance & Conditions

• Selected applicants will receive a scholarship offer with acceptance instructions and deadlines.
• Scholars must not hold other grants and must meet enrolment conditions.
• The first €4,000 instalment will be paid upon arrival in Padua.

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

• Scholarship is paid in two instalments of €4,000 per academic year.
• To maintain the scholarship, students must meet the merit requirements specified in the Call for Applications.

Revocation

The scholarship will be revoked if:

• The student fails to earn at least 20 ECTS credits by November 30 of the following academic year.
• The student withdraws from studies or transfers to another university.
