Auto Manager
Job description
- Oversee daily operations, respond quickly to customer complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction targets are fulfilled.
- To fulfill profit targets, recruit, hire, and train service managers, office managers, and sales/finance department managers.
- Assist in the development of low-cost advertising strategies and initiatives to boost sales and brand recognition for the vehicle dealership.
- Attend management meetings and develop positive working relationships with owners, managers, and dealership personnel in order to establish sales processes and promote daily unit sales.
- Implement expansion strategies that are in line with the goals of the automotive group by carefully analyzing profit and loss while keeping a vehicle inventory that fits the needs of the local market.
- Before discussing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts with higher dealership management, double-check their accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Three years of experience as a sales manager or general manager for a dealership or car group is required.
- Understanding of the automobile industry and trends
- To operate dealership-owned automobiles, you must have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- For success, you must have strong communication skills, a track record of leadership, and the ability to comprehend profit and loss statements.
