IEIS Graduate School Doctoral Scholarship 2025 (PhD in Management Sciences) Overview

The IEIS Graduate School at Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 is offering a three-year fully funded doctoral scholarship in Management Sciences, beginning in October 2025. The scholarship is part of the International Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Society (IEIS) program, focusing on research with societal impact in areas such as climate, health, smart cities, and innovation.

IEIS Graduate School Doctoral Scholarship 2025 (PhD in Management Sciences) Eligibility

• Master’s degree (Master 2) in Management Sciences or a related discipline with strong foundations in entrepreneurship

• Research thesis completed (or nearing completion) within the past 5 years

• Strong academic background and research aptitude

• Proficiency in French and/or English (minimum B2 level, TOEIC 785 or equivalent)

• International students are highly encouraged to apply

IEIS Graduate School Doctoral Scholarship 2025 (PhD in Management Sciences) Program Components

• Doctoral research hosted by the Magellan iaelyon Research Center

• Belongs to the iaelyon School of Management

• Research must focus on entrepreneurship and societal innovation

• Exchange sessions across academic levels (Bachelor to PhD)

• Participation in both local and international academic events

Application Requirements
Submit the following in PDF format via email to: romain.lesage@univ-lyon3.fr before May 31, 2025, 11:59 PM:

• 1-page CV (with photo), listing education history and honors

• Transcripts and diplomas

• Up to 4-page thesis proposal with bibliographic references

• Research thesis or academic paper (can be sent later if still in progress)

• Proof of French and/or English proficiency

• Any additional supporting documents relevant to your profile

Selection Criteria

• Academic excellence

• Strong research aptitude demonstrated by thesis or research paper

• Alignment with the program theme: International Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Society

• Relevant background and career goals

• Language proficiency (B2 French and/or English)

• Deadline for SEG Doctoral School submissions (via ADUM): May 30, 2025
