Eisenhower Fellowships 2026 Global Program Overview

The Eisenhower Fellowships Global Program 2026 invites visionary leaders from across the globe to the United States for a unique, intensive five-and-a-half-week leadership experience. Fellows will develop high-impact projects, build professional relationships, and collaborate with the prestigious Eisenhower Fellowships (EF) network of over 1,800 active global leaders.

Eisenhower Fellowships 2026 Global Program Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Hold citizenship or have resided for at least 5 years in the country they represent

• Be ideally 32–45 years old at the time of the program (exceptions considered)

• Be highly proficient in English

• Have a proven track record of leadership and high future impact potential

• Commit to full-time participation during the fellowship (April to mid-May 2026)

• Not currently reside in the United States

• Not have participated in another fellowship within the last two years

• Not use the fellowship for financial gain, business deals, or fundraising

• Five-and-a-half-week in-person fellowship experience in the USA

• Development and execution of a concrete leadership project

Eisenhower Fellowships 2026 Global Program Application Requirements

• Complete the online application

• Submit essays (without the use of AI writing tools)

• Provide supporting documents (recommendations, project proposals, etc.)

• Secure workplace approval for full-time fellowship participation

Selection Criteria

• Leadership achievements and future leadership potential

• Clarity, feasibility, and impact of proposed project

• Commitment to EF’s mission of international understanding and positive change

• Ability to contribute actively to the EF network post-fellowship
