Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Scholarship 2025 | Fully Funded Study in Germany for International Students:Â Overview
The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Scholarship supports talented international students from the Global South, post-Soviet states, and Eastern/South-Eastern Europe who demonstrate both academic excellence and a commitment to social democracy values. The program offers financial and non-financial support, helping scholars focus on their studies while actively engaging in social or community projects.
Every year, up to 40 scholarships are awarded, covering undergraduate, master’s, diploma, and state examination degree programs at state-recognized universities in Germany.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be from the Global South (Asia, Africa, Latin America), post-Soviet states, or Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.

Be enrolled at a state or state-recognized higher education institution in Germany.

Be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, or State Examination degree program.

Demonstrate above-average academic performance with first-grade certificates.

Show a strong commitment to social democracy values.

OECD country applicants are not eligible.

Monthly stipend: €992
