DLA Piper Global Scholarship 2026 — Fully Funded Law Scholarship for Future Legal Leaders 

Overview

The DLA Piper Global Scholarships Programme supports outstanding law students and recent law graduates pursuing a Master’s degree in their home countries.
The 2-year programme combines tuition funding, mentorship, internships, and professional development opportunities offered by one of the world’s largest global law firms.

The goal is to develop future lawyers and leaders, especially those from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.

Eligibility

You must meet one of the following:

• Currently studying Law and in your second-to-last or final year of your degree, OR

• Already completed a Law degree and accepted into a Master’s programme in a related field in your home country.

Additional requirements:

• Must be achieving or expected to achieve a first-class degree or rank in the top 10% of your class.

• Must receive a recommendation from your university.

• Must be a citizen of the country from which you are applying.

• Must have a good level of spoken and written English.

Application Requirements

You must upload the following documents (PDF or Microsoft Word):

• An academic transcript showing your university grades

• Recommendation letter from your lecturer, Head of Department, or Dean

• A 2-minute video introducing yourself and explaining why you chose to study law

Selection Criteria

Candidates are assessed based on:

• Academic excellence (First Class or top 10%)

• Strength of recommendation

• English proficiency

• Motivation and personal story (via video)

• Demonstrated potential to become a future legal leader

Application Process

2. Complete the online application form.

3. Upload all supporting documents.
