Logistics Assistant at Malteser International, Katsina, Nigeria
Your responsibilities:
- Provide overall support for logistics management at the Katsina location
- Assist in implementing procurement and logistics procedures in line with organizational and donor regulations
- Support preparation and processing of procurement documents, including bids and purchase requests
- Follow up on Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Job Completion Certificates from program teams
- Maintain proper filing systems and documentation for all logistics and procurement activities
- Manage warehouse/store operations and ensure regular asset tagging and inventory updates
- Coordinate vehicle requests, travel arrangements, and other logistical needs as required by the supervisor
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Procurement, Business Administration, and or any related field of discipline
- Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience, preferably in an NGO or development sector
- Basic knowledge of stock counts, assets, inventories, and fleet management
- Individuals from Katsina State are encouraged to apply
What we offer:
- Start Date: This role is intended for an upcoming project, subject to funding
- Duty Station: Katsina, Katsina State, Nigeria
- Duration of contract: 10 months
- Salary expectation: Salary according to the MI salary scale
