Scholarship Benefits: What Successful Applicants Receive
The LONG Young Achievers Scholarship provides support across different education levels:
Undergraduate Scholarship – LONG Scholars Program
This scholarship supports undergraduate students by covering:
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation expenses
- Living costs for one academic year
The scholarship can be renewed annually based on academic performance and continued financial need.
OND/HND Scholarship – LONG Scholars Program
Students pursuing OND or HND programs can receive support for:
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation
- Living expenses
Renewal is available for students who maintain strong academic performance and meet financial eligibility requirements.
Secondary School Scholarship – Young Achievers Scholarship
This scholarship supports outstanding junior and senior secondary school students who are at risk of dropping out because of financial difficulties.
Eligible students can receive support for up to six academic years, helping them complete their secondary education successfully.
WAEC/JAMB Support Scholarship
This program helps final-year secondary school students cover the cost of:
- WAEC registration
- JAMB examination registration
The support helps remove financial barriers for students preparing for higher education.
Who Can Apply? Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the relevant requirements for their education level.
Undergraduate Applicants
You may apply if you:
- Are between 16 and 26 years old at the time of application.
- Have gained admission into an accredited Nigerian university.
- Are a continuing student with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 (Second Class Upper equivalent).
- Are a new student with proof of admission, including:
- Signed admission and acceptance letter
- WAEC result with at least five credits
- JAMB result with a minimum score of 200.
- Come from a low-income family earning less than ₦3 million annually and can provide evidence of financial need.
- Demonstrate leadership ability and involvement in community activities.
