Who Can Apply: Eligibility
Nationality: You must have a USA passport.
Residency: You must be a permanent resident of the USA, defined as having lived in the USA for a continuous period of at least 3 years before the start of the course. Living abroad for study purposes does not count as your permanent residency location.
Programme offer: You must hold an offer to study a 1-year in-person postgraduate taught course within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Southampton.
Conditions: You must meet your programme offer conditions by 30 June 2027.
Ambassador commitment: You must be willing to:
- Act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education, promoting the value of studying at a UK university
- Demonstrate future contribution to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement after graduation
How to Apply
Step 1: Apply to study an eligible postgraduate Master’s course at the University of Southampton in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Step 2: Complete the scholarship application form by 30 April 2027 at 5 pm UK time.
