Akwa Ibom State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno is committed to timely payment of intervention grants for students with disabilities. On this app, qualified students with disability who have registered with the Ministry of Education can now apply for the AKSG Intervention Grant for Students with Disabilities

For the disability grants, eligible undergraduate students will receive N250,000, while eligible postgraduate students will get N300,000.

Requirements for Akwa Ibom State Government Intervention Grant for Students with Disabilities

For a successful application, you will need the following:

• You must have already registered with the Ministry of Education
• Valid Student Registration Number (This information will be securely shared with your university system for verification)
• Valid Student ID Card
• Valid Admission Letter
• Valid Certificate of Origin
•  Valid School Fee Receipt (recommended to have receipts that can be independently validated, for example, receipts with R number if paid with Remita)
•  Valid Passport photo
• Valid NIN (This information would be securely shared with a third-party system for verification)

For Akwa Ibom State Government Grant, we would have a support center at the Ministry of Education to assist students complete their application.
