• Must be a 1st to 3rd-year student of a four-year program or 1st to 4th-year student of a five-year program.

• Must be a Nigerian citizen or a legal resident from another African country currently studying or living in Nigeria.

• Must provide verifiable proof of all academic and non-academic claims made during the application.

• Must possess a valid government-issued ID or a supported ID of a direct family member.

• Must submit a 500-word personal statement (AI-generated submissions will be disqualified).

• Must provide academic history, including WASSCE, JAMB results, and latest CGPA if already enrolled.

a. Adeola Okungbaye Award

This category supports students from single-parent families or orphans, enabling them to pursue higher education without financial barriers.
It honours the legacy of Adeola Okungbaye, a passionate youth mentor and advocate for education.

Eligibility:

• Must demonstrate financial need.

• Must be an orphan or from a single-parent household.

• Must be enrolled or recently admitted into an accredited post-secondary institution in Nigeria (university, polytechnic, or college of education).

• Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or a JAMB score of 220/400 for new entrants.

• Must meet all general LCA scholarship requirements.

b. Merit-Based Award

This award recognises exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential.
(Applicants will be assessed based on academic performance and extracurricular involvement.)

c. Gifted Hands Award

This category supports students with outstanding creative or technical talents, promoting innovation and skills development across diverse disciplines.

Application Requirements

Applicants must prepare and submit:

• Personal statement (500 words maximum)

• Academic transcripts or results (WASSCE, JAMB, and CGPA if applicable)

• Proof of identity (government-issued or verified family ID)
