If you’re an African innovator already using AI to solve real problems, this one’s worth your time. The Brandtech Group, working with One Young World, is picking five young leaders from across the continent for a fully paid trip to the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town this November.

This isn’t a “learn to code” scholarship. It’s for people who are already doing the work — using AI to fight climate change, close education gaps, tackle misinformation, improve healthcare access, or drive civic engagement. If your project touches any of those areas (or comes close), you’re in the running.

Who can apply:

• Aged 18–30 by the time of the Summit (older applicants considered case-by-case if the impact is strong)An
• African national or resident with a demonstrated AI project already running on the continent
• Able to show real leadership and a track record, not just an idea on paper

• Return flights and hotel in Cape Town (2–6 November)
