The Commonwealth Distance Learning programme is one of three Master’s programs offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC). Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the scholarship aims to provide talented and motivated individuals from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries with access to high-quality Master’s education online while living and working in their home countries. Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025: Eligibility

To apply for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country (see list below) or be a British Protected Person.

• Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country.

• Hold at least an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree. In some cases, a lower qualification with relevant experience may be accepted.

• Demonstrate they are unable to afford to study the program without the scholarship.
