Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025: Overview
The Commonwealth Distance Learning programme is one of three Master’s programs offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC). Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the scholarship aims to provide talented and motivated individuals from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries with access to high-quality Master’s education online while living and working in their home countries. The program is part of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP), which supports international partnerships, promotes sustainable development, and strengthens future global leaders.
Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025: Eligibility
To apply for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a citizen of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country (see list below) or be a British Protected Person.

Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country.

Hold at least an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree. In some cases, a lower qualification with relevant experience may be accepted.

Demonstrate they are unable to afford to study the program without the scholarship.
